THE SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
Our congress theme, “United in our Diversity”, recognises that actuaries are active in many fields and in many countries, and the scientific programme is designed to meet the professional needs of every actuary attending the congress. With eight subject tracks aligned to areas of interest to actuaries, the content covers the wide range of actuarial application. The format is equally varied, including plenary sessions, presentations and technical papers with input from actuaries and external experts, designed to meet the requirements of everyone from the technical specialist to the executive.

CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS
Those interested in giving a paper or presentation at ICA 2010 are invited to submit an abstract for review. Please note that the deadline is 16 June 2009, but abstracts received after the deadline will be considered for inclusion in the programme depending on their content and its relation to the provisional programme. Contact papers@ica2010.com with any questions.

REGISTRATION
ICA 2010 Registration is now open, with discounts for early registrations and delegates from low GNP countries. Accommodation at the designated congress hotels can also be booked through the registration process. SOCIAL AND ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAMME
An exciting social programme for both delegates and accompanying persons has been planned, including a Welcome Reception, Gala Dinner and social excursions in and around Cape Town.

DAY TOURS IN AND AROUND AWARD-WINNING CAPE TOWN
A variety of day tours for delegates and accompanying persons can be booked through the registration process. These additional day tours are designed to showcase the diversity of things to do in Cape Town, as well as its scenic beauty, with many different excursions to choose from.
